We are happy to announce the release of LilyPond 2.27.0, the start of
the next development cycle. This is termed a development release, but
these are usually reliable for testing new features and recent bug
fixes. However, for production usage, we recommend using version
2.26.0, the current stable release.

Prebuilt binaries can be downloaded from GitLab:
https://gitlab.com/lilypond/lilypond/-/releases/v2.27.0
This page also links to the associated Milestone that groups all issues
closed with this version and all code changes merged since the last
development release.
