Accidental Positioning Priority?

Hi List,

I'm struggling to create a rest stroke indication for classical guitar. 
It's a umarcato sign placed above the rightHandFinger (I've used LH 
finger in this example). Why does only the first of these overrides 
produce the desired result?

}
