Is this completely separate from the parenthesis problem?

There's a command (can't remember what it is) that goes in the middle of 
a relative passage to force the next note to an absolute pitch.

It was written because if you want to define and repeat a fragment, that 
spans over half an octave, the second fragment will lie in a different 
octave. So this allows you to force it back where you want it.
