For my solution, the tick seen underneath the bottommost = staff line is the same as above.=20 For what you propose, i.e. rounded edges for the edges touching nothing, = while square-off edges for ones touching a staff line, I am sure you can = build something like that using make-path-stencil function (with that I = am sure you can even make the bar lines into something completely = outrageous, like a smiley face, for example).
