Globally Increase Padding Between Text and Box?

Hi all,

I'm currently going back to an old score that has a lot of boxed markup
text a la

\markup { \box "some text" }

Looking at it as it renders in 2.26.0, the box is a little close to the
text for my taste. In the markup appendix of the notation manual (
https://lilypond.org/doc/v2.26/Documentation/notation/text-markup-commands)=

I can see that inside a \markup block, it's possible to override
box-padding to adjust this property. My question: Is there a way to do this
globally for the entire score at once? There are dozens of these boxed
items in the score I'm working on, and it would be a real pain to go in and
adjust each one individually.
