You're not doing anything wrong - it's just that you create (with 
\breakAlignInsert) a spacing problem for which LilyPond doesn't have a 
default setting. Compare:

You could, for example, issue:

\override Staff.KeySignature.space-alist.clef = #'(extra-space . 1)
