How to send multipart/alternative?

Hello again, I was aware that mail can now attach HTML files. and when I attach file, and write email I do not get what I expect, I get 2 attachments, one text, one HTML. Instead of that is there possibility to construct multipart/alternative message, so that text is shown as preferred?
