Installed via apt: v3.13 from official Debian testing repository, then I tried 
to install v.3.14 from official Debian unstable repository but nothing changed.

Could it be some permission issue? But pop3d works like a charm...

Mozilla Thunderbird v91.6 (latest release from official Debian unstable 
repository).
