Hello Paul!

Here it's shortly before midnight and I am preparing an old Mac (with Mac OS X 10.6.8, Snow Leopard, the intel based successor of the elder Mac) to build the legacy edition of TeX Live for the MacTeX community. Tomorrow I'll be able to look into Make problem. (And some time later, or even earlier, when the default compiler would fail to build TeX, I could check the same problem on this Mac.)

One question on the topic: it's 'gmake -p' not 'gmake -dp'?
