Version to test/use: master-branch? stable? (both??)

I've been running the latest stable release of the client and server 
(plus some server fixups) on my machine for testing, experiments and such.

HOWEVER, using the master-branch client version (latest / testing?), I 
saw there are some plugin changes/optimizations/updates (i.e.: the 
gmScanIdxMedDocsPlugin -> gmIncomingAreaPlugin), apart from the 
lately-added auxiliary info to demographics plugin (and surely also many 
backend changes).

Would it be best for me to continue testing the "stable" version for 
bugs, or would it be better for me to test from now on the 
"master"/testing version that'll be the next version of GNUmed?

Or both: for "normal" usage and testing, use the stable version; for all 
experiments and testing changes, use the master-branch version?

As a side note: the Incoming Area Plugin!!! This is so useful, to be 
able to upload without patient, for later patient asignment!!!!! Worked 
great when I used it!!! Looks great!!!
