Was able to get a macOS monterey vm running yesterday, after 6 hours (!!) of loading and
installation. It is a very heavy OS indeed, 30+ GB just the default system. (My debian VMs,
with full xfce4 graphical interfaces, don't even take up 10 GBs of disk space!) My CPU is
not ideal, it runs slow, but runs!
It is somewhat similar but mainly different, as you mentioned. I need to install extra
packages just to get the python3 version?? And to do that, one needs to log in somewhere?
Hopefully, these are all things that I just don't know how to do due to being a newbie and
not things macOS users (or power users I think) deal with on a daily basis... Will find out!
Slowly but surely.
