Hi, I have been asked to develop a program for doing content search. Basically a set of documents are stored in a UNIX box. Mine is a windows client. Using SAMBA, i have mapped the drive of UNIX box and hence it is shown as a mapped drive on my windows machine. Now my task is to develop a ASP page, which would ask the end user to enter a keyword. My program has to give the list of file anmes which contain this keyword. Pls help me with your valuable suggestions and guidance on how to proceed the same. Can I use MIFLUZ library in these situations? If Yes, how to form the INDEX? Do I need to manually look the docs and find out keywords and store them in a Database? Pls give me your feedback.
