GNU binutils will need to be rebuilt with the same target spec, 
otherwise it will break full "relocatability" due to GCC looking in 
<sysroot>/<target>/bin for binutils executables.

I believe Arthur is presenting this 3rd option as an alternative to 
changing the target architecture.
