I *think* the libgnat-dll version thing is a red herring; ada builds
fine for me, but libgnat.a is built as a static library only -- I can
find no way to create a corresponding DLL, (short of brute force, by
extracting and linking all of the objects from libgnat.a, which I
didn't bother to try).

For me, ada is a completely alien world, and I simply don't have the
inclination to devote either time or energy to debugging its quirky
build system.  If you are willing to pursue it, I'll assist as best
I can, but I have no ada expertise to offer.
