Just use a regular MSYS shell, in MinGW personality; otherwise > you aren't using MinGW to compile, and you are stuck with the ancient > gcc-2.95.3 compiler, building applications dependent on msys-1.0.dll. In a msys shell in GNUCash@ELSHADAI /src/MSYS-1.0.11/msys_base/msysCORE-1.0.11-20080826/src/bash-3.1-MSYS-1.0.11-1 $ less INSTALL.MSYS GNUCash@ELSHADAI /src/MSYS-1.0.11/msys_base/msysCORE-1.0.11-20080826/src/bash-3.1-MSYS-1.0.11-1 $ In INSTALL.MSYS I read ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To build a MSYS package: 1) Create a MSYS build environment: http://www.mingw.org/MinGWiki/index.php/MSYSBuildEnvironment ------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.mingw.org/MinGWiki/index.php/MSYSBuildEnvironment is not a valid url page Also, these instructions told me to use msysdvlpr, when i found it. I am getting confused.
