There are several components of the msys core; most people update the 'msys-*-bin' component and think that's all they need to do. You need ALL of the following: msysCORE-1.0.15-1-msys-1.0.15-bin.tar.lzma msysCORE-1.0.15-1-msys-1.0.15-dev.tar.lzma msysCORE-1.0.15-1-msys-1.0.15-ext.tar.lzma and you might want these: msysCORE-1.0.15-1-msys-1.0.15-dbg.tar.lzma msysCORE-1.0.15-1-msys-1.0.15-doc.tar.lzma msysCORE-1.0.15-1-msys-1.0.15-lic.tar.lzma https://sourceforge.net/downloads/mingw/MSYS/BaseSystem/msys-1.0.15-1/ > Where can I get back gcc 2.9.5 for MSYS? > Many thanks in advance, > https://sourceforge.net/downloads/mingw/MSYS/System%20Builder/Technology%20Preview_%20msysDVLPR-1.0.0-alpha-1/ But as I'm sure you are aware, it is (and has been) broken. You need also the _G_config.h file, and put it in the right place... -- Chuck ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Sprint What will you do first with EVO, the first 4G phone?
