so a made-up but real-sounding name is OK? not that you'd be able to track 
me down more easily with my real name, especially not even knowing my home 
country and address, or if I'm a single person rather than a group, an AI 
or an alien from outer space. I don't see what legal value could have a 
name completely out of context, rather than a nickname equally unique (or 
even more so, since I have a cousin with my very same name - first, second 
and last) and equally out of context

why not use Social Security Numbers directly, then? or the digitalized 
fingerprint of the left thumb?

Not that I care that much. This patch isn't something worth fighting for. 
If Steven is ok with it, submit it under his name
