To clarify: gdb is a long standing FSF project. Current development for gdb (and binutils and gcc for that matter) is hosted on sources.redhat.com but none of those are Red Hat owned products. We just provide the space and that's where you found the bug database, so all is good. We also provide a lot of the engineers that work on those projects but it's still all FSF.
