Just downloaded master branch and the build went fine. $ sq.exe -v Squirrel 3.1 stable Copyright (C) 2003-2016 Alberto Demichelis (64 bits) Perhaps your build environment is corrupted and/or polluted somehow. Try reinstalling it. Is mkdir included in a mingw-get package; if so, which one? msys-base, I think. But that will only work if you use the MSYS Make and not the MinGW Make.
