Surely, this is https://osdn.net/projects/mingw/ticket/39902, which I
fixed just this afternoon.

I agree that this isn't particularly informative; it's one of those
where mingw-get probably shouldn't have gone quite so far, before giving
up its attempt to identify a release tarname.

I don't know what's going on there, and unfortunately, I don't have a
working Windows system to explore it myself.  Perhaps you could try
running mingw-get in CLI mode, with traces enabled?
