Alexander,

I don't think this is suitable as I need an installer to distribute this application. Please can you provide a version with the files included in the installer.

I assume you're using the usual installer. There's a way to manually install too, documented at http://mingw.org/wiki/InstallationHOWTOforMinGW
I just checked, and it looks like some of the links are old, but if you can puzzle out what files you need from Sourceforge based on the the old links it *should* work.
