I found a window of opportunity; the job is done.

For those who choose to link libmingwex dynamically, please be aware
that removal of the __mingw_* and __msvcrt_* aliases represents an ABI
change which is not backwardly compatible with previous releases.  Thus,
the ABI version has changed from libmingwex-2.dll to libmingwex-4.dll
