Hey there's some more activity one the list. I wonder if work stopped on 
octal because you can use Buzz in linux through WINE... I found that out 
recently and have since used it with no problems. I would still love octal to 
exist however because the project founder intended to code a piano roll 
editor (like Cakewalk & Cubase).
