That is understandable these days. We usually include a contact e-mail along
with a name in case there are questions about a particular patch that arise
later. Of course, for a translation file that is not really as necessary as
it is for a patch that implements a new algorithm.
I had used the e-mail address on file at Savannah believing that this was a
more public-facing address rather than a personal one. I apologize for that.
I will see if the changeset can be modified, but the whole point of version
control is to make it very difficult to change the past. One doesn't undo a
past changeset, instead one provides a new patch that reverses the old one,
but leaves both patches in the history logs.
A good thing is that Octave's Mercurial logs just aren't that interesting so
aren't being mined for addresses as far as I know.
We will not include your e-mail in any future changesets, and I will
investigate if the existing cset can be stripped.
