Update of bug #67994 (group octave):

Status: Patch Submitted => Ready For Test

Follow-up Comment #5:

I cross-built Octave with this patch for Windows using MXE Octave.
With that change, the content of the command window is no longer overwritten
after running `__run_test_suite__`. So, I'm assuming that this is the last
place where we need a change for this issue.

While the patch is more than just a few lines, it is largely similar to what
we are using now in `octave::sys::system` on Windows (with the added pipe).
Given that, it is likely still save to apply now (after the second release
candidate). Additionally, the changes don't have any effect on non-Windows
platforms.

So, I went ahead and pushed the change to the stable branch (hg id
61ecfbf5c436).

Marking as ready for test again.
