[bug #68042] gnulib compilation warnings

Please use the bug tracker to post updates to a bug report.  The mailing list is intended as a read-only notification stream.  Info posted to this mailing list address won't appear in the tracker database where it is most useful.

Follow-up Comment #2, bug #68042 (group octave):

Just an addendum. I found that there is already an open bug report in LLVM
dating from 2009 asking to special-case gettext() to not issue that warning:

https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/issues/4186

So we don't need to submit a new request for that. It's just a difference
between those compilers to issue a different number of warnings.
