[bug #48564] mrdivide and mldivide do not compatibly handle divisor ndim>2

FYI i did get a reply back to my bug report. they confirmed this is intended
behavior, also noted that its undocumented, and sent a note to the
documentation team.  they said they would provide an update to my report
if/when that change is made.

don't know if that changes our intent regarding undoc'd behavior. if we don't
implement it ahead of them modifying their docs, we could probably add a
docstring note with the recognized incompatibilty and/or a FIXME note to watch
for 'published' compatibility changes.
