[bug #66660] [octave-forge] (geometry) Octave /Geometry Install Errors

Perhaps time to prepare a new geometry release.

Hmmm I just saw that I'm mentioned as one of the maintainers. I'll have a chat
with juanpi ("lead maintainer" IMO) about making a new release.

Dmitri posted a fixed geometry package in the thread mentioned in comment #1,
try that and report back if it fixes your issue, please.
And ... you can always install mapping using the "-nodeps" flag.  But then
you'll lack a few functions, notably the ones dealing with polygons.

[Slightly OT]
The matgeom package (dependency of geometry and also maintained by juanpi)
also seems in need of a new release.  A mapping (depender on geometry) pkg
release is planned.
