It looks like the crash occurred when a function of ARPACK was called.
Which variant of that package did you build or install? Are you using the
variant with 32-bit or with 64-bit Fortran integers of ARPACK?
The Fortran integer size of all libraries and Octave itself must match. It's
probably best to use the variants with (the default) 32-bit Fortran integers
of all libraries and Octave.
