[bug #50257] [octave forge] (image) imtranslate is not Matlab compatible

Please use the bug tracker to post updates to a bug report.  The mailing list is intended as a read-only notification stream.  Info posted to this mailing list address won't appear in the tracker database where it is most useful.

Follow-up Comment #5, bug #50257 (group octave):

Since the failure is in Octave version 7.2.0, but not in 8.1.0,
The minimal version for the Image Package will be 8.1.0.

The error messages in some of the error tests have been changed in order to
work correctly both in version 8.1.0 and in newer versions.

Newer version attached, please review.
