[bug #68150] Axis labels should be displayable also for invisible axes objects

@Rik: The changes looks good to me. Since Matlab seams to have a number of
invisible "mode" properties (that we may find useful to add at some point), I
was wondering if we could simplify our lives by adding a dedicated qualifier
to let genprops.awk generate properties with a hidden companion mode property
(say capital M, rather than m)?
