Yep, any diamond inheritance will result in the same issue. I was just
providing a very common concrete example _(any handle class with multiple
inheritance)_ that doesn't have a reasonable workaround that I am aware of.
At the moment, this essentially requires disabling all warnings to use my
software package ([https://matpower.org MATPOWER]) under Octave 11.1.0.
