That might probably be chapter 14.2.6 and 14.2.7:

In the PDF manual those chapters are pretty close to each other. On the web site and in the Qt help browser it needs a few clicks to get from one to the other though...

Like you already wrote: Suggestions to improving the manual are always very welcome.
