Re: octave mailing lists

I've also seen this rendering problem on my phone.  The site also 
frequently fails to load (just hangs with no response) on my phone.  I 
haven't seen either of those problems with a desktop browser (firefox, 
Linux).

I don't think we have any plans to disable or remove the mailing lists. 
But I much prefer using discourse over the mailing lists, so whatever 
problems there are, I hope we can resolve them rather than have to 
abandon discourse (or a similar web-based communication tool).
