Hi phillips! > Has anyone looked at interfacing it with octave? Actually paul kienzile suggested some one [and once personally me] to take it up, for hacking it to Octave. But its got to under go a total rewrite to C++ before we can access it to Octave. The other, nicer clean option will be interfacing Python-Octave, so that we could call generic python scripts from Octave, and so by the same token call this matplotlib. This is will come at a terrible performance cost no matter. So I guess we are left with the idea of rewriting matplotlib functions as C++ code, and interface it to Octave. Im ready, to start. Do we have friends? Cheers Muthu. Lets Hack Octave-Gtk. http://octave-gtk.sourceforge.net ------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through IMP(http://www.nitt.edu)
