Re: Octave plotter for 3D shading plots ?

You can try octaviz (http://octaviz.sourceforge.net/). It doesn't have handle
graphic but it has most of matlab's visualization functions
(http://octaviz.sourceforge.net/index.php?page=manpages). You can rotate the
mesh with the mouse (zoom, pan etc are also there). You can export to eps, rib
(renderman), jpeg etc.
