After using Octave-GUI 0.4, and after being impressed, my first
question is why the input and output are in separate windows? To me it
would feel more interactive if they were in a single window (even
though it would be functionally equivalent since you will only be able
to enter commands in the last line of the window.)

Is it a design issue or a programming one?

P.S. I really like the auto-indentation.
