I don't know if it is a bug because I don't know what the behaviour
is on other platforms.  Put a print statement in your own version
and see what happens.  If you only get one message per key
press then I will report the problem.

No, I'm just acting as enabler.  With enough groups
working on it maybe somebody will come up with
something that implements cross-platform GUI's better
than what I've already got with soctcl.
