pax with sockets and pipes

Hi,
i am student working on pax and wanted to ask if any one knows how to =
include an option so that pax can unpack files from sockets like if it =
gets a file through some port/socket then it should unpack it. Is this =
posible, if yes how can one add this potion to it.
