What's the current status of paxutils? It seems that we can't get it yet on
ftp.gnu.org.

Are you planning on making also some sort of a library out of the core code of
pax or GNU tar?

Final question: where can we get star (which seems to be a "reference
implementation" of tar from my understanding)?
