GNU Prolog 1.2.16 hangs on 'A=A+1'.

maybe this is an expected behaviour of GNU Prolog. If is this case I
apologize for wasting your time.

I have also checked Win32 (1.2.16) version and also hangs (with a Win32
checkbox dialog error).
