Status of the recent patches.

I have recently committed to CVS version 1.1.92 the changes regarding
RFC 2868. The current status of the proposed patches is:

* 2166 Extra builtin rewrite function tolower.

Applied. The orthogonal function toupper() is also implemented.

* 2167 Do not log the Fall-Through attribute in detail.auth

Not applied but the equivalent functionality is provided. Actually,
it is seldom useful to log any internal attribute, therefore I
chose to disable logging them by default. However, the special
attribute flag 'l' (lower-case letter ell) is provided, so that the user
may select whatever internal attributes he needs to be displayed in his
detail or detail.auth.

* 2168 conf "system-accounting yes|no" (to en-/disable utmp/wtmp)

Not applied yet. 

* 2169 Send authentication reject in case of a malformed user

Applied.  However I have changed the configuration statement name to
reject-malformed-names, since it is not the user who is malformed,
rather the name he has supplied :^) 

* 2170 Tunnel-Password attribute

This required far more changes than the proposed patch did. Besides,
the encryption algorithm described in RFC 2868 is a superset of the
algorithm set forth in RFC 2138, so no special function should be
used for it.

The recent modifications include support for encoding, decoding and
correct proxying of Tunnel-Password attribute.
