Copy files from old RCS project to a new project

I have a new project that will be using some files from an older
project. Both projects use RCS. I want to copy files from the old
project to the new project. I want the copied files to no longer be
associated with the old RCS project, so that I may modify these files
and maintain the changes using the new RCS project directory.
