RE: problems with RCS rcsdiff and checkout co.exe in emacs 22.3.1

I think I have solved the problem.  It was caused by a mismatch in the
value of the PATH environment variable -- different in the DOS box than
what was seen by runemacs started by the mouse.  I changed the value of
Path by Start | Settings | Control Panel | System | Advanced |
Environment Variables
And now they all work.

Eli, I appreciate the help as it led me to figure this out.

I am still curious about your ",v" question, but that is low priority.
