   I just upgraded my mac to macOS 10.13.6.  Now any rcs command
   (eg co, rlog) simply responds =E2=80=9CAbort trap 6=E2=80=9D.

   Any help to fix this will be greatly appreciated.

Do you still see this problem?

If so, which version of RCS is it?  Try command "rcs --version".
