Issue is with -X option it seems.

This works:
screen -S gerald/SESSION -list

While this doesnt:
screen -S gerald/SESSION -p 0 -X stuff "ls"

I get the same "No screen session found." error.

It seems like the -X option simply ignores the specified user and looks for the 
session in the current user, which is not found.
