Hi, when i make use of the %u string escape in the string option of the windowlist command, like :windowlist string "%t %f %u", the first time i issue the windowlist command, screen get's <defunct>. Maybe it's a bad idea to use %u here, but the man encourages the use of other string escapes (ok, actually it proposes colour codes... ). Just thought, i should report it... s~ Linux 2.4.20-bf2.4 i686 Screen version 4.00.02 (FAU) 5-Dec-03 SOCKDIR is /var/run/screen on a Debian ls -l `which screen`: -rwxr-sr-x 1 root utmp 308632 7.
