Eterm Scrollback in Screen

Hi all,

Forgive me if this is an Eterm question and not a screen question,
wasn't sure which was the better place to ask.  I almost exclusively use
a large Eterm window with screen running inside.

Before I run screen, I have a nice big scroll-back buffer that I can use
with my wheel mouse to go and see the bits of output that have gone off
the top of the screen, without using a pager like less.  However, once
I've started screen, this scroll-back facility is no longer available --
if I scroll up, I see whatever was off the top of the display BEFORE I
ran screen, and not whatever had scrolled off the top inside the screen
session.

Is there a way around this problem?
