auto-lockscreen?

Is there a way to have screen lock after a certain amount of idle
time? I can do ctrl-a x to lock it interactively, but I'd like for it
to lock automatically after a certain amount of idle time. I don't
see a way to do this currently.

Also, what are some alternative lock programs ($LOCKPRG) than the
builtin screenlock?

Thanks, Eric
