echo info page missing description of '-E' option

Hi
   I am using Red Hat Linux 7.2, kernel 2.4.9-21 ... the version of the 
man page for echo that I am reading is:
GNU sh-utils 2.0.11 (July 2001)

   In the man page, it describes the '-E' command line option, but it 
doesn't describe it in the info page ... I only mention it because in 
the man page it implies that the info page is the authoritative 
reference on the echo command.
